Pub WiFi was born from Connected Hospitality, a specialist hospitality technology company with decades of experience designing, deploying and supporting technology for hotels, restaurants and leisure venues across the UK and Europe.
Over the years, we’ve delivered thousands of hospitality technology projects, from guest WiFi and structured cabling to network infrastructure, security, IPTV and smart building solutions for some of the world’s leading hotel brands.
As we worked across the hospitality sector, one thing became increasingly clear: many pubs, bars and restaurants were still relying on networking equipment designed for homes rather than busy commercial environments.
We believed the licensed trade deserved something better.
That’s why we created Pub WiFi — a business dedicated to bringing enterprise-grade hospitality networking to pubs, bars and restaurants, delivered in a way that’s practical, approachable and built around the way publicans actually work.

james harrison – the Lan-lord
James has spent more than 20 years helping hospitality businesses deliver exceptional guest experiences through technology. His background spans network design, WiFi, hospitality IT, structured cabling and large-scale technology deployments across the UK and Europe.
Around the office he’s affectionately known as “The Lan Lord”—a nickname earned through an unhealthy enthusiasm for great networking and an appreciation for a great pub. Fortunately, he’s far better at designing WiFi than pulling pints.
James founded Pub WiFi with a simple belief: pubs deserve the same standard of technology that the world’s leading hotels rely on every day.
tim herbert – business development director
Tim works closely with pub owners, operators and hospitality groups to understand how technology can improve customer experience, simplify operations and support business growth.
With a practical, no-nonsense approach, Tim focuses on finding the right solution for each venue rather than selling technology for technology’s sake.
